  1. Megan, I think your action research template looks great! I'm very interested in following your research. We have the Istation program in our campus, but it is only used by our special education and our recent immigrant kiddos. Looking forward to seeing what results you get from your research, maybe it's something that I can bring to the table in my campus, so that it can benefit all students. Best of luck!

  3. Your plan looks very well made. Seems like you have everything thought out. We just received Istation on my campus...well we were sent information on it, but it was never installed. I am curious if you like it. I know it's math counter part TTM my students in fifth grade like...more the game aspect of it. I like that it works on their struggles and can have help if needed. I look forward to knowing what you find out about the program.

  4. The plan looks good to me. I am worried as well about how mine is put together. I like that your idea is simple, and it is focused on one piece of software that can generate reports for you. The way that you will be able to focus in on particular growth, or lack of, is great in terms of finding an problem and coming up with possible solutions through action research. That is exactly what it was designed to do. I love the quote, "An inch wide and a mile deep." Good luck!

  5. Hi Megan, I like your plan in the fact that you are running with collaboration. That is a great way to collect and analyze data. I like that you are using the Istation program. I am not very familiar with that program because I work in higher ed, but I looked into it, and it looks like a great tool. I will be following you as you do your research.

  6. Hello Megan, great idea, great plan but I don't think you are going to be able to measure correctly long lasting improvement of any kind in such a small time frame, please don't get me wrong I like the plan and how well is put.
maybe having a test design by you and present this to the students at the beginning and at the end of the three months to help measure the growth.

    1. Thank you for your feedback! The students have been using Istation since November, so I will have their initial placement testing scores as well as their monthly scores from November until the end of this school year. I'm hoping that 6-7 months of testing data will be sufficient. I am excited to start collecting the data and see where it takes me.

  8. I like your topic and can't wait to read and share your findings with my colleagues. This topic is new to me since I teach at a private school where funding is closely monitor. I am very interested in your topic and want to learn as much as I can. Thanks
